Market trends are very much affected by current market sentiment
as well as other factors. Very often traders rely only on one basic
theory in their stock market analysis, totally forgetting that current
market sentiments can dramatically change market conditions. A lot of
investor use market sentiment as a starting point for their analysis,
but most of them do not have real data to sufficiently define this
point. We provide the defining point for market sentiment and
therefore they can compare current market sentiments with the result
of their analysis.
Do you send your poll reports via email?
Yes, we send weekly newsletters with poll reports for each
selected question. These reports include analysis for the past week.
If you want to see daily report and do not wait until end of the week
you can visit the members section of our site, it's completely FREE.
Why are the
majority of your questions about US Index Shares?
There are a lot of different types of traders and it's impossible,
within one site, to describe the sentiments for all of them. For
whatever stock you are trading the volatility is always represented,
to a certain extent, by the volatility of the index to which the stock
belongs. It doesn't matter what security you prefer, by answering the
questions about stock index sentiment you are basically answering
about the sentiment for your stock.
Investors often
change their opinion about future stock trends, how do you reflect it
in the results of your poll?
Our poll reports give the user the ability to scroll, on a
day-by-day basis, back and forward so that you can see the market
sentiment for any specific time frame.
Different type
traders have different opinions about stock sentiment simply because
some of them trade daily and some of them just once a year. How do you
separate these totally different types?
You 100% correct! That's why we created three different types of
questions for each index. These questions reflect stock index
sentiment for short, mid and long term of trading. That's why we
encourage people to vote in an entire category, because even if you
are trading every day you always have some ideas about mid and long
term stock trends.
Should I follow
general market sentiment and trade like the majority of traders do?
The Information on this Site is provided strictly for educational
purposes only. It is not intended to be, and does not constitute,
financial advice or any other advice. You should not make any
decision, financial or otherwise, based only on the Information on
this Site without first undertaking your own due diligence.
How often can I
vote during one day, do you count all my votes?
You can vote once a day for each question. If you vote several
times for the same question only first vote will be registered.
None of your polls reflect the market
sentiment that I'm interested in. Can you include a few new questions or
maybe even a new category to your list?
Yes, you can suggest either a new question or entirely new
category. We have a special form that you can fill and submit (click
here). If your question does a good job of reflecting the sentiment of
traders we will consider registering it as a new question or category.
Where do you get so many
votes during the day? Can we trust you?
Our site is a part of Highlight Investment Research Group that
covers several different financial products on the web (
marketvolume,
QQQQ-trading-system ...). Each of our sites has at least one of the
polls listed in this site. In addition we also have partnerships with
many different sites that use our polls to gather information. By
summarizing all polls we can generate reliable reports for current
stock market sentiment.
